The pursuit of quality within organisations is more important today than ever before. As organisations develop, innovate and grow, ensuring their processes and products maintain the highest level of quality is crucial to their success. To ensure this quality can be achieved, there are a number of tools available to organisations and their staff.
The 7 basic quality tools are mainly statistical in nature, and enable you to gain a greater insight into what is happening within your organisation and your key processes. This insight will enable you to launch quality based projects aimed at improving your offering to internal and external customers and improve your overall operation.
In this course, we will look at:
– Quality. What is quality, its importance and purpose?
– The basic tools of quality. We will cover process map, check sheet, histogram, pareto chart, fishbone diagram, 5 whys and run chart.
– A case study of a real life example of the delivery of these tools within an organisation.
At the end of this course, you will be able to deliver these tools in a range of projects to ensure quality based decisions can be made using the right data analysis and insight. This analysis and insight can be given by these tools – which is why they are so crucial in the journey to quality.
